If you need to transfer your domain to another registrar, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open a Support Ticket #
To initiate the domain transfer, you’ll need to open a ticket with our support team through our client portal. Once your ticket is received, we’ll provide you with the authorization code (also known as the EPP code, Auth code, or Domain Auth Code). This unique password is necessary to authorize the transfer of your domain to another registrar.
Eligibility Requirements #
Before initiating the transfer, please ensure your domain meets the following criteria:
- Domain Age: The domain must be at least 60 days old.
- Status: The domain cannot be in Pending Delete or Redemption status.
- Recent Transfers: The domain cannot have been transferred within the last 60 days.
What to Expect #
After providing the authorization code to your new registrar, the transfer process can take several days to complete. This time allows for the necessary approvals and updates to be made.
