Changes That Don’t Need Legal Proof

You can request these updates without needing to provide any documentation:

•  Marriage – Update your title or surname

•  Divorce – Update your title or surname

•  Spelling corrections – Fix errors in how your name appears

•  First name updates – Replace an initial with your full first name

For more formal updates, we’ll need supporting documents:

• Name change by Deed Poll
• Gender change
• Registering the death of an account holder.
