If you make change to your services in the middle of your billing period for example upgrading your storage or upgrading your plan. Your next invoice will include pro-rata charges to cover these changes as there might not be enough time to add the new charges to your current invoice.
Invoices are generated 14 days before your payment is due. If you have already paid for your upgrade at the end of your billing period your next invoice won’t change, and you’ll pay for the month in advance as normal.
If you have not yet paid for your upgrade these charges will be added to your next invoice as a pro-rata charge.
These charges are calculated using the following formula: Cost of New Service divided by 31 days multiplied by the amount of days . This amount will be added to the cost of your new service to cover the period you’ve had the upgrade, along with the upcoming month’s invoice.
For example – You upgrade from our Pro VPS plan 2 weeks through your billing period. You will be charged the following £16.99/31*14 = 7.67 + £16.99. These charges would cover the additional 2 weeks used until the date of your next invoice plus a month in advance. This example would result in your next bill being £24.66 which would then return to the price of the new service on the next invoice.
